To the trained eye the paintings, drawings and signature of Leighton-Jones are unmistakable. For new collectors the best way to be sure that the work is authentic is to contact us before purchase. We will try to acquire all relevant details and give as much information as we can. We will want to know where the piece is located, the medium on which it is painted or printed, the size, a high quality photograph, digital by internet or a hard copy by post, and a close-up of the signature. There are a number of items which appear on the Ebay auction site which are often mis-described, e.g. 'this is a painting' when it is in fact a print. Many are unsigned prints which are not a good investment and some paintings could even be copies. Our simple answer is beware and contact us and we will help and advise whenever we can. All Prints and Paintings on board P & O and Princess Cruise ships are authentic and currently are the only companies carrying contemporary originals by Leighton-Jones.
